I don’t know how it happened, but I was told it would happen. I let the painting sit for a week and the colors became more contrasted and vibrant.

Ink and gauche on 7×10 illustration board (Crescent brand is the best).
First round of laying down paint, I may paint a few more layers before it’s finished. You can see it still needs tape on the border to keep the water out. No I am not Mormon, just inspired by them – I guess?
P.S. – I was corrected by my sister, the Brigham quote is – “This is the Place”, not “This is the spot”. I still like this is the spot.
